Itinerary

09:30 | Arrival at a premium Barolo winery and welcome by the winemaker in person.

Discover the traditional techniques of a winery that values its heritage and its land. Using organic methods and manual labour to honour the grapes, you will develop a full appreciation for the making of this noble wine.

10:00 | Private visit to the historic cellar and jeep excursion with the oenologist in the vineyards.

12:00 | Panoramic helicopter flight over the UNESCO Hills.

◊ Hover above a landscape carved by the passage of history and blessed by the majesty of nature. Parcels of land laden with vines that produce some of the best wines in the world are parted only by narrow paths trod deep by generations. Fly along ridges that trace these UNESCO listed landscapes and pass over medieval castles and tiny villages.

◊ The duration of the flight is approximately 20 minutes; in case of adverse weather conditions that mean the flight cannot be carried out, the cost of this component of the service will be fully refunded.

13:00 | Private tasting-lunch with the winemaker at the winery (assorted appetizers, dessert, paired wines).

Secrets shared and stories revealed: a private lunch with a Barolo winemaker offers an insight into a life rarely open to the public.

15:30 | Departure.
